What is the Java Plug-in?

The Java Plug-in is FREE downloadable software that allows your web browser to run Java 2 programs. Since NetLabels is written in Java 2, you need the Java Plug-in to print labels.

The Java Plug-in was written by Sun Microsystems, Inc. and your web browser will ask for permission to download and install the Java Plug-in from Sun's website the first time you run NetLabels. You should agree to this download and follow any installation dialogs which follow

See How do I download and install the Java Plug-In?

TECHNICAL NOTE:

We have found that version 1.3.1 of the Java Plug-in does not work with Windows Vista and Windows 7. If you are running either of these operating systems, you will need to install version 1.6 of the Java Runtime Environment, which can be downloaded by clicking here.
