How do I select a label style to print?
Once you Logon to NetLabels, you will see the "Select Label Style and Request Type" screen.
On this screen you can:
- Select a Label Style to print
- Select a Request Type, identifying the source of the data you want to use in your labels
The label designs are presented in a tree structure, much like Windows Explorer.
Click on each node in the tree to see a preview of a single label populated with sample data.
Expand a tree node to see ten major label attributes for each style:
- NetLabels Style Number
- Industry (e.g. Insurance, Courts, Education, Government)
- Label Category (Top-Tab, End-Tab, Custom)
- Label Sub-Category (Standard, Alpha, Terminal Digits, Image Label
- Color Match
- Label Height
- Label Width
- Number of Color Bars, excluding Prefix such as Year band
- Prefix Type (2-digit Year band, 4-digit Year band, custom prefix, no prefix
- Fonts required (Standard Windows fonts, barcode font, other special fonts)
Click on the Label Attribute radio buttons to the left of the tree to change the attributes visible in the tree.
The "Sort" button allows you to change the order in which the available label styles are displayed - you can sort on all 10 label attributes. Sorting displays label styles with similar attributes together.
The "Filter" button allows you to search through the label styles, selecting label designs with particular features. As you add filters, fewer and fewer label designs are displayed in the list - only those that match ALL of the Filters you have applied. To UN-filter and view all label styles again, click on "Reset".
