When I print out my labels, the characters in my color bars are distorted.

If your characters are distorted when you print your labels you need to do one of two things.

  • If your characters are supposed to have an outline around them, you will need to download and install the GBS Outline fonts.
  • If you label does not need outline fonts, then the issue is likely with your printer driver. Most printers have two different driver versions, PCL and PS. You will need to find out which version you currently have installed (this can be done by looking at your printer properties), and then install the other version.
    • For example: If you find that your printer driver is the PS version, then you will need to install the PCL version of the software. You can find the printer drivers either on the installation CD that came with your printer, or download them from your printer manufacturer's website.
