What special fonts are required?
NetLabels uses FONTS to display the characters in each label style and also to display bar-codes. If you do not have the fonts that NetLabels expects, your browser will attempt to select a similar font.
NetLabels can use a wide variety of fonts to create tall, thin characters and bar-codes.
If you see labels on screen or paper where the characters are off-center or misplaced, missing fonts is likely the cause.
NetLabels has the ability to stretch a font. From base fonts such as Arial, it is simple to create tall, thin fonts or other variations.
You can download the following fonts FREE for use with NetLabels:
Some Label Designs use these BitStream fonts, which must be purchased separately from http://www.bitstream.com:
- Swiss 721 Bold Condensed BT (TrueType)
- Swiss 721 Bold Condensed Outline BT (TrueType)
You must install fonts using the Windows Control Panel, accessible from Start/Settings/Control Panel/Fonts/File/Install New Font.
