How do I define the data to go on each label?

On the "Select Label Style and Request Type" screen, the "Request Type" determines where your label data will come from.

The available Request Types are:

  • Data Columns allows you to enter up to 60 individual label data values into a simple spreadsheet using the keyboard.
  • List - 1 Page is a simpler screen that allows you to enter up to 1 page of label data values from the keyboard.
  • Single Label is a simpler screen that allows you to enter 1 label data value from the keyboard.
  • Single Range allows you to enter a starting numeric value & an ending numeric value from the keyboard. NetLabels will print one label for each number in the range, e.g. a range from 1000 to 2000 will yield 1,001 labels.
  • Multiple Numeric Ranges allows you to enter numeric ranges from the keyboard. NetLabels will print one label for each number in all the ranges - e.g. 3 ranges of 0101-0200, 1000-1199, & 2000-2199 will yield 500 labels.
  • File allows you to import the data value(s) for each label from a data file. Files can have data for hundreds or thousands of labels. From the NetLabels File Information panel, click Browse Local Files to open a text file containing label data.
