- NetLabels 3.0 won't download, or I get an error stating that my software is out of date.
An error or message of this type indicates that your network is preventing the application from being run.
Here is some information on what may need to be changed on your network.
The following are the extensions of files used as a part of the ClickOnce bootstrapper/application. All of these files are accessed from www.netlabels.com.
*.deploy
*.application
*.manifest
*.exe
*.msu
Network/system administrators would need to make sure that www.netlabels.com is not being cached by their internal proxy or at least make sure that no file with one of the extensions above from www.netlabels.com is cached.
You may also need to "white list" www.netlabels.com and cc-data.netlabels.com (which is accessed through HTTPS, which is usually port 443) on your proxy/firewall.

- NetLabels 3.0 crashes when trying to print.
NetLabels 3.0 uses a technology known as WPF to print the labels, so it is important to make sure your printer drivers are up to date. If you are getting an error when you try to print, please first try updating your pritner drivers.
If updating your printer drivers does not work, then please install Microsoft .NET 3.5 (alongside with .NET 4.0). You can download .NET 3.5 here. You will need administrator rights to install .NET 3.5.

- The system cannot find the file specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070002).
First, make sure that their virus protection software is not interfering with NetLabels 3.0. You may need to exclude GBS.NetLabels.CustomerClient.exe from being scanned and quarantined (this depends on their software).
Then clear their Click Once cache.
For Windows XP this means deleting everything in the C:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Local Settings\Apps\2.0\ folder
For Windows Vista/7 delete everything in the C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\ folder
Then "Run NetLabels 3.0" again.

- NetLabels 3.0 doesn't launch nicely from Chrome or Firefox.
NetLabels 3.0 is a ClickOnce application. By default, Internet Explorer can launch ClickOnce applications as intended, but browsers such as Chrome or Firefox cannot (you are likely asked to save a file when trying to run NetLabels 3.0). Fortunately there is an add-on for both browsers that will make launching NetLabels 3.0 much easier. Use the links below to install the add-on for the browser of your choice.
