No need for a web browser!
NetLabels 3.0 has been developed as a "Smart Client" application, which completely eliminates the need to run NetLabels through a web browser. Internet users will download and install NetLabels 3.0 from the Internet. The application will reside on the users PC, but will access logon information, label design, click, and subscription information over the Internet. NetLabels 3.0 will also automatically check for application updates to ensure the latest software is being used.
This is similar to how the iTunes Music store works. iTunes is installed locally, but the Music Store is accessed over the Internet, through the application.
No need to install extra fonts!
The days of installing barcode and outline fonts to use with NetLabels are over. NetLabels 3.0 comes with built in support for outline fonts, Code 3 of 9 Barcodes, and Code 128 Barcodes.
NetLabels 3.0 will keep track of your label inventory
Every time you place an order for labels we will credit your account an equal number of clicks (1 label = 1 click). The total amount of clicks remaining will always be displayed in the upper left hand corner of the application. When the amount of clicks remaining reaches a specified re-order point, the application will notify you that you are almost out of labels, so you can order more. If the clicks remaining amount reaches 0, the application won't allow printing until more clicks are added.
Better Data Entry
If you use Data Columns in the existing version of NetLabels, not much will change. We still have the grid for you to enter your data and print. However, we have combined this grid with the ability to import a file. Now, when you import a CSV/text file, the data in that file will show up in the grid, allowing you to edit the data, delete rows of data, or even type in additional rows of data before you print.
Faster Label Design changes
In the past, Internet users have had to wait at least one business day for any changes they requested to make it online, no matter how minor, or how quick the NetLabel Design Team completed the change. With NetLabels 3.0, when the Design Team makes the change, it can be online right away. We've completely changed the way designs get uploaded to the Internet. Instead of a mass overnight update, like the previous version NetLabels, changes can now be made practically in "real-time".
